Roman limericks
I have by serendipity digged out some of the limericks written by Priscilla Burke, one of the characters in "La Loca de Chillán".
*
There once was a girl called Priscilla
Who sat under a weeping willa'
She wept and she cried
And she sobbed and she sighed
Saying I've no one to share my pilla'
*
There once was a chap called Duque
Who was truly a very smart cookie.
With a pen dipped in acid
The world´s every facet
He explored, in a manner quite spooky.
(Rome, early 70's)
